Grant Samuel encourages its staff to actively give back to the community. Some of the activities in which Grant Samuel and its staff are actively involved include:

provision of premises to Lou's Place, a daytime refuge for women and children located in Kings Cross, Sydney

provision of office premises and assisting in fund raising for Australian Wildlife Conservancy, an organisation dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s threatened wildlife and ecosystems through the acquisition and management of sanctuaries

sponsorship of the Ranamok Glass Art Prize (www.ranamok.com)

fund raising for Odyssey House, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Sydney

provision of office space to the Thyne Reid Trust, a charitable organisation supporting projects in the fields of medicine, science, creative arts, environment, education, social and community needs
Individual Grant Samuel staff members hold senior levels within a range of non-profit organisations including: the Centre for Independent Studies; Cancer Council NSW Investment Committee; Australian Wildlife Conservancy; University of Melbourne Advisory Board; Robert Saltzer Foundation; Museum of Contemporary Art; Sydney Symphony Orchestra; Alfred Health; Committee for Auckland; and New Zealand Ireland Fund.
Grant Samuel is actively involved in supporting the development of indigenous Australian artists.
