Grant Samuel continues to grow its team and is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their growing Corporate Finance team in Hong Kong.

The Role

The role will involve assisting the corporate finance team in the origination and execution of advisory assignments including:

• public company takeovers and mergers;
• private treaty acquisitions and divestments;
• corporate and strategic advice; and
• debt and equity capital raisings.

About You

The successful applicant will be proactive, highly motivated, with a record of academic excellence and strong communication skills. The applicant will be able to think independently and be able to work collaboratively as part of an energised and collegiate team.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with a Big 4 Accounting Firm in the Corporate Finance division. Candidates with Corporate M&A, Consulting and/or Investment Banking backgrounds will also be considered;
• Advanced Excel financial modelling experience;
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of economics, finance and accounting;
• Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the organisation;
• Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests;
• High standards of professional and ethical conduct; and
• Bi-lingual. Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
