The Role

The role will involve assisting the corporate finance team in the origination and execution of advisory assignments including:

  • public company takeovers and mergers;
  • private treaty acquisitions and divestments;
  • corporate and strategic advice;
  • debt and equity capital raisings; and
  • valuations and expert’s reports.

Grant Samuel continues to grow its team and is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its Corporate Finance team in Melbourne.

About You

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, with a record of academic excellence, strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an energised and collegiate team.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with an Investment Banking background. Consulting and professional services experience will also be considered
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling experience
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of economics, finance and accounting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the organisation
  • Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
  • High standards of professional and ethical conduct
