Grant Samuel is pleased to announce that it has commenced the process of establishing an office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (Hong Kong).

Grant Samuel will be applying to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for the relevant licence to facilitate advice on securities related matters.

The office will be led by Jimmy Lim, an experienced investment banker who previously worked with JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in Australia and Hong Kong.  Jimmy’s clients encompass upstream and mid-stream resources players, private equity funds, large corporates and family conglomerates throughout Asia.  Jimmy is a non-executive director of Stanmore Resources Limited (ASX:SMR).
