Commenting on the initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of Grant Samuel, Damien Elias said:

“Grant Samuel has recently advised a number of Asian based corporations on significant transactions, including Tianqi Corporation on its sale of 49% of TLEA to IGO, ComfortDelGro on its acquisition of A2B Australia and Golden Energy & Resources on its pending acquisition of IMC from South 32.  We also work closely on a day-to-day basis with numerous credit and specialist investment funds throughout the region.

We are very pleased to be establishing an office in Hong Kong to assist our engagement across the region and to enhance our ability to provide services to our clients.  Grant Samuel operates in a global market for corporate advisory services and this direct presence is complementary with our existing relationships with corporate advisory groups in Europe and North America.”
