On March 8, 2024, the Grant Samuel Melbourne office celebrated International Women’s Day by hosting a morning tea in support of SisterWorks, a local charity that supports women from refugee, migrant and asylum-seeker backgrounds. The morning tea was catered by Crafted Culture Café, a social enterprise run by SisterWorks that provides entrepreneurship and employment opportunities to women in need.

SisterWorks is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to help women become economically empowered and socially connected. They offer training, education and support programs that cover topics such as Small Business and Customer Service skills. They also sell handmade products made by the women in their shop and online store, showcasing their diverse talents and cultures.

The morning tea was a success, raising funds for SisterWorks. The staff enjoyed the delicious food and drinks provided by Crafted Culture Café, as well as learning more about the charity and its impact. Grant Samuel is proud to support SisterWorks and their mission to empower women and foster social inclusion.
