Jimmy joined Grant Samuel in 2024 to establish Grant Samuel’s Hong Kong office. Jimmy has over 20 years’ experience in investment banking and investment management. Jimmy’s experience includes advising and financing some of the largest metals and mining companies in the world, as well as managing investment portfolios in the metals and mining, agribusiness and media/entertainment sectors.

Prior to joining Grant Samuel Hong Kong, Jimmy was Senior Advisor in the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. He has also held positions at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong) and JPMorgan in Melbourne, where he was responsible for coverage of the metals and mining sector in Asia (excluding China). Jimmy started his career as a Tax Accountant with Ernst & Young in Australia.
